2021 Irish Eyes
The 2021 Irish Eyes is our classic GSM red blend. Syrah is sourced from Dineen vineyard, and Grenache and Mourvèdre are sourced from Candy Mountain vineyard. The wine is immediately inviting with black cherry and black tea in the nose. A mouth-coating palate of concentrated fruit follows with cherry jam, mixed berry compote, and a brightness of orange zest that develops into berry punch and a hint of butterscotch. This wine will pair with an entire meal, from cheese and charcuterie on through to some dark chocolate. Drink now thru 2028.
What is it? 41% Grenache, 39% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre
